Lots of errors. Unending errors. Think of this as a graphical flash card app for help reinforcing you what you already know. Heh, been a while, and I got about 60% right on Overview Front (I did surprise myself by remembering as much as I did from my own Nurse Practitioner courses so many moons ago). When you do get something wrong, it does highlight in yellow the correct muscle group. I didn't see it at first, but the it's there; probably could use a more definite attention-grabbing highlight, though.<br/><br /><br/><br />The graphic display certainly can use a "HD" overhaul, as they are not particularly crisp.<br/><br /><br/><br />The screen interaction for answering is very, very touchy. If you accidently touch anywhere, even outside of the body in empty space, it counts as a wrong answer. And if you accidently double tap the screen, it counts it as the incorrect answer for the NEXT question too. There is a zoom-like magnifying glass, but if you don't let go over the correct place, it counts that as wrong too. So no zooming in, realizing you are in the wrong part, then letting go to get an idea of where you ought to be- Wrong. Moreover, at the beginning of a new quiz, quite often the screen doesn't respond at all.. until suddenly it registers the multiple taps I used, and then, of course, proceeds to count the next question, sing it with me, Wrong. Or doesn't register the taps whatsoever, runs out of time, and "Tra la la Wrong-O"<br/><br /><br/><br />This happens constantly, and often then followed by the app suddenly popping up Stopped Responding and force closes. This happened at least five times in the 30 minutes I spent with it.<br/><br /><br/><br />All in all, you have to be particularly precise, and even then, there are interaction hiccups. I did use it on a 10.1" screen, and frankly I can't recommend it on smartphones 5.5" or smaller. Does request Network Access, and has AdMob in the code (advertising). Nothing else, not even analytics. I ran OFFLINE just fine, but I also ran ONLINE just to see if there was any online behavior to take note of. Nothing, so it seems the AdMob is currently inactive. I did get a More Apps prompt at the end of every quiz session<br/><br /><br/><br />In the final sum? A bit over touchy interactions, graphics rather smudgy, and the constant irregular force closing just kicks this in the gastrocnemius.</div>

I've only played GTAIII and GTAIV (and plan to play GTAV), and GTA Vice City is more similar to GTAIII than GTAIV. After having gotten used to playing GTAIV, I realized how big of a change GTAIV was compared to its predecessors.<br/><br />Other than noticing that, the only other thing I noticed (and the reason I am writing this review) is that they switch how you control your person when you enter a car. When you are outside of a car, you control your movement via a circle similar to a joystick on the PS3 remote in the lower left hand of the screen. When you get in a car, it switches to just a right and left arrow key, which in my opinion is more difficult to control than the joystick-like circle. I do not understand why they did not keep the circle for driving vehicles, and think it would have improved the game if they did. Obviously, the circle is not 100% perfect, either, but one cannot expect using an app to be the same as playing a PS3 game, but I still feel the circle while driving vehicles would be a major improvement.<br/><br />So that is why I docked 0.25 star. Other than that, so far it would have earned 5 stars. A great GTA app that is about as close as you'll get to having the PS3 on a tablet, and as I said in the title, now you can play GTA on the go! And for only $4.99!<br/><br /><br/><br />UPDATE:<br/><br />Just noticed that if you go to Options -> Controls, you can change "Use Analog Steering" from "Off" to "On", which then changes the driving from the arrow keys to an analog stick like the PS3 controllers have, which takes care of my one complaint mentioned before.</div>

You play Passepartout, the servent to Fogg, as you two attempt to circumnavigate a steampunk version of the victorian world. The game allows you to choose your own path around the world, and the developers have stated that you'll only see about 3% of the content on a typical playthrough, which means the game offers lots of replayability.<br/><br /><br/><br />Within each city, you have a number of options: the marketplace, exploring, going to the bank, staying at a hotel and planing and departing the city<br/><br />In the Marketplace, you can buy and sell items. Some items are in high demand in certain cities, and so you may be able to buy and then sell items at a profit, if your journey takes you through a city where one of your items is in high demand. Items may also make certain routes visible on the map, may make the journeys less tiresome for Fogg, may allow you to bring up the departure time of some method of transportation for cheap or free(eg, if you obtain the 2 pieces of the gentlemens outfit, it will help you on gentlemanly methods of travel), or allow you to interact with people (like offering them a drink or playing dominos with them)<br/><br />At the Bank you can take out a loan/withdrawal. Generally, the higher the loan you want, the longer you have to stay in the city to obtain it. There may be a limit on how much you can take out, though I haven't used this option much.<br/><br />You can explore, which offers you narrative segments with options (think of these as short choose your own adventure tales) - the result of this may be obtaining some item or discovering some new routes from the city. These narritive segments are the heart of the game, and I'll talk more of it later.<br/><br />You can stay the night in the hotel, which usually gives the option of caring for Fogg, doing a little bit of work for a little money, or some narrative options.<br/><br />Planning and Departing are the same screen, the only difference is that you can't depart unless theres a scheduled departure, otherwise you can only see what routes are available (as I stated previously, you may be able to bring up a departure).<br/><br /><br/><br />While in transportation, there re also narrative options available, or conversational options that may give you some insight on the city youre going to or what routes lie ahead. Or you could choose to take care of Fogg or read the latest news.<br/><br />Depending on what travel method you're going through, you may only have limited space for luggage, so you may need to sell off some items to make room, or in some cases, you can pay more to have more room. Also, depending on the method, travel will bring down the health of Fogg. Some items may reduce or prevent this, and you can also spend time taking care of him to raise his health.<br/><br /><br/><br />As I said before, the meat of the game are the narrative structures. It really feels like a adventure story with lots of little adventure vignettes: You may be robbed and have to deal with thieves, try to solve a murder, Learn about some secret new technology, avoid a city under siege, go undercover, go boxing, try to convince a captain to go faster, have a romance. Some storylines may cover multiple cities or legs of a journey (well, provided you go on that path - it's also possible to lose that storyline if you've decided to go a different route, or if you've made a wrong decision).<br/><br /><br/><br />Its no wonder this was Time's Game of the Year. Excellent game. Highly recommended.</div>

The graphics and music of the game are professionally done and the game held my interests so much that I could not stop playing it. It was pure concentration and solving the maze without a time limit and without being killed every 30 seconds. I do wish that it was longer and I think for the price it should have been. I have to admit that I would still have purchased the app as I enjoyed it that much. Rarely do I get a game that I become so engrossed in that I can't stop playing.<br/><br /><br/><br />The app is large at 159 MB but it automatically installed 141 MB into my SD card and 17.65 MB onto my device memory. When I finished the app the memory used 160 MB by saving some additional data to my SD card and device memory.<br/><br /><br/><br />Permissions:<br/><br />* Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage<br/><br />* Full internet access<br/><br />* View network connections<br/><br />* Prevent tablet from sleeping.<br/><br /><br/><br />The game does use both Amazon and Flurry Analytics to monitor your game play behavior and how its software is performing. Since the permissions are so limited there is no personal data being viewed. The app also uses Amazon Game Circle and Google Play Services.<br/><br /><br/><br />I liked the game so much that I immediately looked to see if the developer had released any more apps like this. Unfortunately I did not find any. This app is a very good one and I enjoyed it a lot.</div>

Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, et al, are fun, but I can only play them in short stints.<br/><br /><br/><br />Based on positive reviews I decided to give Plague Inc. a try, and after downloading it I played for about 5 hours nonstop.<br/><br /><br/><br />If you can get past the creepy concept that you're trying to wipe out humanity, (which, c'mon, you can do it, it's just a game) this game hits a very sweet spot in that it's easy to learn, but has plenty of depth to add variety to each game. Plus, there are 5 (or more?) plague types. You start with Bacterial, then once you win a game on Normal difficulty you unlock Viral. I haven't beaten Viral yet because my hosts die before the infection can spread! I like that - it's this sort of detail that can make or break a game.<br/><br /><br/><br />Now, you can spend a bunch more money to unlock things, but the game says you can unlock everything just by playing. I think it would cost something close to $20 to instantly buy everything. I DID pay an extra $.99 to unlock a gene (or whatever) where I get extra DNA when popping a blue "cure" bubble. Later in a game when the DNA is hard to come by, this has been helpful - I think it's 2-3 points per bubble, so it's not like it makes the game too easy, just helps a little bit.<br/><br /><br/><br />Anyway, if you're looking for something with more depth, this game is a ton of fun. I'm going to keep an eye on this developer.</div>
