CUSTOMER REVIEW



First things first: ZERO permissions! Hooray! No IAP and no spyware/adware modules!! Yay!!



INTRO: Tangled is a very well done spatial puzzler where you try to untangle each puzzle. Good for both small breaks and longer excursions into a thinking game.



OBJECT: To turn all the lines white by "untangling" the puzzle!



GAME PLAY: Move the pieces around until the lines connecting them to the other pieces are no longer crossed.



REWARD: Up to three stars per level, which you accumulate to unlock other worlds; there are six worlds total, each with 15 levels. You must complete the levels in order, but once you accumulate a certain number of stars, the next world is unlocked and you can immediately start playing the new world.



TUTORIAL: One of the easiest and shortest tutorial I've seen. It's adequate, though. However, it doesn't tell you about the percentage bar at the bottom of each puzzle which tells you the percentage of the puzzle is complete.



Some things I'd like to see: An undo function, a level skip function, and a zoom function, possibly with a panning function to make it easier to view and manipulate the puzzle pieces. There is no save, so if you end up outside of the game you will have to restart whatever level you were on if you wanted to continue.



The music is nice, but there's a bug where it stops sporadically, only to resume several seconds later yet stop again almost immediately. The bug can be fixed, and probably will; I include it so people could be aware of it at the time of this writing. Of course, the music can be turned off in the menu.



There is another bug that's more serious: the game will not exit with the back button. I had to use a task killer to stop it. Fortunately, it was only taking less than 10MB of memory, so not a big issue.



SUMMARY:

It is a great game, very close to five stars. With the bug fixed and a couple of small enhancements, it will be worth five stars without a doubt.
